Delete your account

You can delete your Submanagr account and its data at any time. The fastest way is inside the app and takes under a minute — no email or support ticket needed.

1. Delete from within the app

1. Open Submanagr and go to the Profile tab.
2. Tap Delete account at the bottom of the screen.
3. Confirm. Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out.

2. Or request deletion by email

If you can’t access the app (lost device, can’t sign in), email privacy@submanagr.app from the address your account is registered under with the subject “Delete my account”, and we’ll delete it for you and confirm by reply.

3. What gets deleted

• Your account and sign-in credentials.
• Your profile — display name, username, and avatar.
• Your personal subscriptions, their renewal and usage history.
• Your payment handles (e.g. Revolut/PayPal/Venmo usernames).
• Your notification preferences and device push tokens.
• Crash-report and analytics identifiers tied to your user id.

4. What may be retained

• Shared group history: records a group’s other members depend on (e.g. that a share of a past cycle was paid and confirmed) may persist in anonymised form — your name and profile are removed from them.
• Billing records: if you subscribed to Pro, invoices and payment records are kept by our payment provider (Stripe) as required by tax and accounting law.
• Legal obligations: anything we are required to keep by law, for as long as the law requires — and no longer.

There is no other retention period: deletion takes effect immediately.

5. Delete some data without deleting your account

You don’t have to delete your account to remove specific data. Inside the app you can, at any time:

• Delete any subscription you own (Subscriptions → open it → Delete).
• Delete payment handles (Profile → Payment handles).
• Remove your avatar (Profile → Edit profile → Remove photo).
• Leave a group, which removes your share from its future cycles.
• Anything else — email privacy@submanagr.app and we’ll handle it.
